Penrith Toyota are committed to the confidential protection of your personal information. This statement explains what information we collect and how that information is guarded and if necessary how we disclose that information.

If you require finance or insurance for the purpose of purchasing goods additional information may also be required

Fulfilling our ongoing obligations (including warranty, roadside assistance and manufacturer recalls on your vehicle whether it be a safety or mechanically related matter) to you as the owner/driver of a vehicle.

At anytime you may opt out of receiving any communications from us (other than as required for our primary purpose or by law) by calling us on (02) 8805 9500 or by writing to us at P.O.Box 733, Kingswood NSW 2747. It is our policy not to sell or trade your personal information to any external organisations.
Some of your personal information is shared with Toyota Australia for warranty, demographic and customer satisfaction purposes. All this information is supplied in a confidential and secure manner.

Who does Penrith Toyota disclose your personal information to?

The car manufacturer or distributors of your car, on the condition that they use it for the same purposes as set out above and only in connection with the relevant make of car;
The advisors, consultants and contractors the car manufactures or distributors of your car ordinarily engages for customer service requirements, direct mail and market search purposes;
Advisors, consultants and contractors Penrith Toyota ordinarily engages for customer service requirement;
Any government body for the purpose of motor vehicle registration and law enforcement matters as required by law;
Relevant financial institutions where an application for finance/insurance has been made;
Penrith Toyota will take reasonable steps protect personal information we hold from misuse and loss from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
In the event of contact with you through the internet and E-mail all information collected from you, you agree that the internet is inherently insecure and that accordingly we can only use our best endeavours to secure your personal information. Other than liability that cannot be lawfully excluded, Penrith Toyota will not be in any way liable in relation to any breach of security or any unintended loss or disclosure of that information.

Access to your information.

You can request access to personal information that we hold about you. We will endeavour to fulfill your request as soon as possible, unless there are circumstances whereby we are not required to give this information by law. In such circumstances we will inform you of the reason(s) why. We will endeavour to keep our customer files and information accurate, complete and up to date. If any information is incorrect, please inform us to enable the appropriate changes.
